Un suono ampio e articolato quello prodotto dalla voce intensa delle ance di Marco Colonna, il pianismo elegante di Fabio Sartori e la ricchezza percussiva di Cristian Calcagnile. La musica del trio, identificabile lungo le coordinate di un jazz aperto, sensibile ed incline all’avventura, si sviluppa attraverso l’alternanza naturale tra momenti diversi. Zone larghe e riflessive si susseguono a fasi dense e concitate, e in entrambi i casi il trio dimostra un’interessante chiarezza di forme, uno spiccato senso lirico e un notevole interplay collettivo.
“(In)Obediens è un gioco di parole che vuole significare ascolto profondo. Là, dove nasce la spinta creativa, che spesso è in contrapposizione all’esterno. In questo senso è un disobbedire, non prestare ascolto ai modelli costituiti, confezionati. La modalità è l’improvvisazione. I due temi iniziali e quello finale (come la parentesi del titolo) sono scritti. Il resto è scoperta e condivisione di ogni attimo fra i musicisti. Il brano che da il titolo al progetto, è quello che meglio rappresenta questo lavoro.” Fabio Sartori

“(In)Obediens is a play on words that signifies deep listening. There, where the creative thrust arises, often in contrast to what lays outwards. That means a disobedience, the refusal of established and preconstituded models. Improvisation is the way. The opening and ending themes are written, as the parentheses in the title.
